Queerist is an LGBTQ+ focused community platform and publication that launched in 2021 as the editorial arm of the former Alt Pronouns.
The platform is now exclusively available on Medium. Queerist features Radically Queer™ views on LGBTQ+ topics and issues from Identity and Culture to Health, Life, & History.
Our mission is to champion Queer identity, amplify Queer voices, enhance Queer visibility and representation, illuminate Queer history, and help the world understand what it means to be Queer.
Founded by Lex Evan in 2019, Alt Pronouns was a human identity brand empowering the Queer community, known for their Radically Queer, Gender Free Pride Apparel. Alt Pronouns came to a close in November 2021, but Queerist lives on.
Queerist carries on the mission of Alt Pronouns “to empower the Queer community by breaking down social barriers to allow people to discover and explore identity and self-expression.” Queerist is a safe space where readers can celebrate, explore and understand their own identity.

Queerist is for the LGBTQ+ community and our allies. All who share an open mind and care to learn more about human identity are invited to join us and become Queerists.
